The venue is the Sculpture Garden at the Walker Art Center. Many say that this is where music and art converge. This yearly event is always a sellout! Every year there is a new lineup of buzz-worthy bands for your listening pleasure.

Basilica Block Party
If you love rock and pop music, this event is for you. The venue is St. Mary’s Basilica in Minneapolis. This two-day rock-pop music festival is dubbed summer’s hottest church party by locals. The Basilica Party is the largest music event within the city limits of Minneapolis
The annual event originated in 1940 to celebrate the city’s famous lakes, streams, and rivers. Locals call it “the best days of summer. What is it? Four days of fun-filled activities which include a parade, a marathon, live performances, live music, and a water ski show.
The Minnesota State Fair
For millions, this is the event of the summer. The Minnesota State Fair is the largest in the country by attendance. The happening is about music, food, Blue Ribbons, 4 H, and more food. Food on a stick. Food deep fried. The kids love the animals and the midway. It’s where Summer in Plymouth and all the metro communities wrap the season up. Minnesotans like to call it The Great Minnesota Get-together. And so it is.
Plymouth is a Super Place to Live
So what else is worth mention about summer in Plymouth? Music and movies in the park are one thing. Access to green spaces is another. There are miles of trails for walking and biking both.
